        - Resolution Certifying Millage To Be Levied
  
         Minutes: Chapter 200.065(2)(f)3 of the Florida Statutes 
        requires that the school district hold a public hearing to adopt a 
        millage rate within 80 days of certification of value, but not earlier 
        than 65 days after certification.
  The total millage rate being 
        levied is 7.8720 which raises $1,205,908,404 in local 
        revenues.
  Mike Burke, Budget Director, provided Board Members 
        with an overview of the following areas: Comparison of Taxable Value; 
        Millage Comparison; Assessed Value; Homestead Exemption; Required Local 
        Effort; Discretionary; Capital Projects; Debt Service; Class Size 
        Reduction; FRS Employer Rate Increase; S.T.A.R. Program; Teacher Lead 
        Program; Contingency Reserve; Comparison of All Funds; General Fund 
        Budget Tentative 2006-2007 Revenue; 10 Year History of Florida Education 
        Finance Program Revenue State vs. Local Revenue; General Fund Budget 
        Tentative 2006-2007 Appropriations; Schools by Level; General Fund 
        Budget Fund Balance & Contingency Reserve; Student Enrollment 
        Forecast; Budget Outlook; and FY2008 Budget 
        Process.
